Trudy Sheoras Paintings is the communal effort of an artist, her daughter, and myself. Elizabeth and Trudy founded the vision for the website, a digital gallery that eventually turned into a commerce website as well, and it was my duty to build the website and a brand for Trudy.
2022 - Present
Trudy’s daughter Elizabeth found me in 2022 and requested I create a website for her mother who was approaching her 80s and had begun painting with acrylics. Since 2022, not only has her website grown into a massive gallery for her nearly endless paintings, but a thriving commerce website, a hub for everyone who enjoys her work, and a connection piece for friends, family members, and fans near and far from Trudy. The website is being updated constantly, from little edits here and there, to an endless stream of accolades from people who own her art, and managing the store.
The initial goal of the website was to have a place for Trudy to present her art. Especially because Trudy and Elizabeth have family in all parts of the world, I knew the result had to be clear, understandable, and something that is easy to come back to. Not only are we displaying Trudy’s art to her friends and family, it had to be displayed in a way that was dignifying and hopefully could match the beauty of her creations.
